CH Explorer 1500
Ever dreamed of living much of your time on the water while being able to move around at will and enjoy the comforts of high-end apartment life? The CH Explorer 1500 may well be the answer.
Living the live
The CH Explorer 1500 is designed to sail in coastal waters, estuaries, bays, lakes and rivers with winds up to force 6 Beaufort and a maximum wave height of two metres. Designer and naval architect Olivier van Meer has poured his forty-plus years of experience into a vessel that looks as good as she sails. The fact that Van Meer was born on a gaff schooner and has himself sailed hundreds of thousands of miles gives him an innate understanding of how to enhance onboard living and ensure comfort, safety and efficiency.
Three decks of living space
A defining factor that sets this houseboat apart from anything else currently on the market is an ingenious layout that creates around 30% more living space across three decks. The lower deck has two luxury bedrooms, two bathrooms and a day head. On the main deck is a saloon, a kitchen-diner and the main helm. Topping it all is a sun deck with outdoor galley and dinette and sun loungers.
Superior technology
Driven by an 200 Hp John Deere main engine, the CH Explorer 1500 easily reach maximum speeds up to 10 knots. Using the proportional bow and stern thrusters, you easily manoeuvre the CH Explorer 1500 into the most challenging moorings.
Good insulation eliminates engine noises, vibrations and resonance while high-end technical systems such as organic sewage treatment system, a water-maker, underfloor heating, aircon chiller system and solar panels facilitate independent living.
